| Welcome to Saranealis House, the home of Torres Pearls Pty Ltd, where we specialise in the supply of beautiful South Sea Pearls. |
The South Sea Pearl is renowned as the largest and being from the salty ocean environment retain their natural lustre longer than freshwater pearls. Naturally they occur with rarity, in fact when Pearl Shell diving (for Mother of Pearl) was at its peak in this region the natural pearl was found in about one in five thousand shells. It is this rarity and mystical beauty that enabled the Saranealis family to establish their trading company. The modern production of the cultured pearl has enabled the sharing of this beauty to be extended throughout the world. |

The modern pearl comes in forms from
round, circle, button, baroque, keshi, drop, oval and mabe. |
The natural range of colours is large, and cannot be controlled through the culture process. It is totally up to the natural animal’s genetic makeup. The colour ranges from Silver Cream to Silver Grey and Pale Yellow through to a Deep Gold. |
When this range is then combined with gemstones and black pearls, beautiful pieces of jewellery can be created to suit the taste of most discerning buyers. And can range from the classically simple to the ultimate decadence. |
| Saranealis House began trading pearls back in 1896. It was supported by the massive pearl shell diving industry. This combines to give a fascinating look at the history of migration into the area, pearl diving and their harsh realities but beautiful outcomes. See more on the history page. |
